Skip is a 45-year broadcast veteran who
started as an on-air personality in the 1970’s
at WGRD, the #1 Rock station in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. During this time, he was trained to
write and deliver News by the legendary
J. Paul Huddleston (KHJ in Los Angeles).
Throughout the ‘80’s & 90’s, Skip programmed and
managed some of America’s top stations including WJR in
Detroit and WHAS in Louisville. He also managed a
17-station group for Clear Channel in Michigan.
In 2007, Skip retired from radio management, relocated
to Fresno and reconnected with his love of radio news
at One Putt Broadcasting, where he continues to
write & voice 75 Newscasts each week.
