Skeeter Nash began his radio career in the early-1980s right here in the Valley, working at stations in Fresno, Hanford, Tulare and Bakersfield (where, for a time, his boss was Buck Owens). He has also worked at stations in South Texas, Northeast Arkansas, Topeka KS and Nashville, TN, where he worked on-air at WSM-AM, home of the Grand Ole Opry. Skeeter is also a professional drummer/vocalist, having played music all over the country, in smoky honky-tonks and large outdoor venues before thousands of people. Skeeter says, “I played most of the songs you hear on The Legend 105.5 when they were brand-new hits on the radio! And it sure is great to be playing them again for my friends in the Central Valley!”
